Catch & Cook
Every Wednesday and weekends, you can join us for an exclusive "Catch & Cook" experience, where you will follow the fish to the table in the most direct way possible! Start your day with a half-day fishing trip at 0930 led by the seasoned captain of fishing with Blástein.
Since 2004, our captain has been guiding novices and experienced anglers alike to the best spots for catching haddock, cod, and other fish species. With all fishing gear provided, just focus on the thrill of the catch.
We will be back at the harbour at around 1330, and you will be guided to Heima á Fitjum, with some fresh fish filet in your bag.
Following your fishing tour, Heima á Fitjum welcomes you to a unique dining experience. Your fresh catch will be prepared by locals with vegetables and potatoes, complemented by local beer.
Conclude your memorable day with homemade cake and your choice of coffee or tea, all while enjoying engaging conversations and ocean views that capture the essence of Faroese hospitality.
